North Carolina sets maximum notary fees under G.S. 10B-31. SheSecures follows these state limits:

North Carolina sets maximum fees for notarial acts under G.S. 10B-31. SheSecures follows all applicable state fee limits.

Standard In-Person Notarization
Up to $10 per notarized principal signature for acknowledgments, jurats, verifications or proofs. Oaths or affirmations without a signature are up to $10 per person. -
Electronic Notarization (e-Notary)
Currently unavailable. SheSecures holds a North Carolina Electronic Notary commission. Electronic notarization services will be offered when compliant technology solutions are approved and available for use through the North Carolina Secretary of State. -
Remote Electronic Notarization (REN)
Not currently offered. SheSecures will evaluate offering Remote Electronic Notarization when North Carolina-approved remote electronic notarization platforms are available and all applicable implementation requirements can be met.
Mobile Notary & Travel Fees
In addition to the state-regulated notary fees, SheSecures may charge additional fees for travel.
Location-based travel fees are calculated by mileage, in line with North Carolina law:
"For any notarial act under G.S. 10B-31, actual mileage at the federal business mileage rate applies when travel reimbursement is agreed to by the principal in writing prior to the travel."
