Notary Pricing (North Carolina)
North Carolina sets maximum notary fees under G.S. 10B-31. SheSecures follows these state limits:
- Standard In-Person Notarization
Up to $10 per notarized signature. Used for acknowledgments, jurats, and oaths/affirmations - Electronic Notarization (e-Notary)
Up to $15 per notarized signature - Remote Online Notarization
Up to $25 per notarized signature
Mobile Notary & Travel Fees
In addition to the state-regulated notary fees, SheSecures may charge additional fees for mobile and after-hours appointments.
Location-based travel fees are calculated by mileage, in line with North Carolina law:
"For any notarial act under G.S. 10B-31, actual mileage at the federal business mileage rate applies when travel reimbursement is agreed to by the principal in writing prior to the travel."
Any additional time-of-day charges (such as late evening, early morning, weekend or holiday appointments) will be clearly disclosed and agreed to in writing before your appointment is confirmed.
Final pricing is always confirmed in writing before your appointment.
